Organization Roles
The View, Member, and Admin organization roles, and what each one can do.
Every member holds one organization role. There are three assignable roles, View, Member, and Admin, plus Super Admin, which is reserved for 8090 staff. Assign roles at Settings → Organization → Members.
View
View gives the organization visibility and navigation needed to reach assigned projects. A View member cannot create projects and cannot administer the organization. Project access is capped at the Viewer project role, whatever project role is assigned. View always runs on a free View seat, never on a Full seat, and the Members table shows the seat type. Member
Member is the standard role. Members can be added to projects, and inside each project their access is governed entirely by the assigned project role. Members can also create new projects. Member requires a Full seat.
Admin
Admin has full organization settings and membership management. Admins invite members, assign the View, Member, and Admin roles, and edit, archive, or unarchive organization projects. An Admin also holds implicit Owner-level access on every project. Admin requires a Full seat.
Super Admin
Super Admin is a platform-wide role for 8090 staff and is not assignable by customers. It is listed here only for completeness.
Capabilities at a glance
These are organization-level capabilities only. What you can do inside a project, with Requirements, Blueprints, Work Orders, and Knowledge Base files, comes from your project role, not your organization role.

Grant admin access deliberately
Admins can manage membership, organization settings, shared resources, usage, and billing, and they act as Owner on every project. Reserve this role for the people responsible for the organization.
