Project Roles
The three built-in project roles and what each one allows.
Project roles are assigned per project and decide what a member can do inside that project. 8090 Software Factory ships exactly three built-in project roles: Viewer, Editor, and Owner. For access that does not fit one of the three, use a custom role.
Viewer
Viewer can view and comment on all project content, and can open project settings to read them. A Viewer cannot create or edit content, or change settings. This is also the ceiling that every View-seat member is held to.
Editor
Editor can create, edit, and manage content across all modules, and can manage agent skills. An Editor can view project settings but cannot manage project members.
Owner
Owner has full access, including project settings and member management. Owners add and remove members and change their project roles. A project can have more than one Owner.

Member management is Owner-only
Only Owners manage project members. Organization Admins can too, through their implicit Owner access. No other built-in role and no custom role can grant member management.
Built-in roles are read-only. They ship with every organization, cannot be renamed or deleted, and their permissions are system-defined. Find them at Settings → Organization → Manage Roles, under Built-in Project Roles, where each role has a View Details breakdown of its access module by module.
