Link your GitHub account and connect a repository for 8090 Software Factory to index.
Connect a GitHub repository so agents can search and read your code. For what happens once a connection is live, see Codebase Connection.
Open Codebase settings
Open your 8090 Software Factory project, then go to Settings → Codebase and choose the option to add a GitHub repository.
Link your GitHub account
If prompted, select Link GitHub and authorize 8090 Software Factory. Your linked identity determines which GitHub repositories you can browse and connect.
Install or update the GitHub App
Install the 8090 Software Factory GitHub App for the organization or account that owns the repository, and grant it access to the repository you want to use.
If an expected repository is missing from the picker, select Manage GitHub Access and add it to the app installation.
Repository missing? You may need a GitHub admin
On an organization, only a GitHub owner or admin can install the 8090 Software Factory GitHub App and choose which repositories it can access. A regular member's install becomes a request that an owner has to approve, and repositories stay out of the picker until an owner installs the app and grants it access to them. If a repository you expect is missing, ask a GitHub organization owner to install the app and add that repository.
Select the repository and branch
Choose the repository, select the branch 8090 Software Factory should index, and confirm the connection.
